The Miami International Boat Show and the Miami Yacht Show, both scheduled Feb. 14-18 on the water near downtown, showcase thousands of new boats from inflatables to mega yachts. This year, saltwater anglers can find plenty of beautiful fiberglass to simply ogle or comparison shop. Here are five new boats that fit a range of fishing interests that will be displayed to the public for the first time. Regulator Marine 26XO
This new center console was designed for bay and skinny-water fishing as well as occasional offshore forays. The 26-foot, 9-inch crossover will offer more than 122 square feet of deck space, seating for the family and generous storage. It carries a 17-degree deadrise angle at the transom and floats in 14 inches of water with the engine up. A seating and tackle center, Garmin 16 Fish Package and fiberglass T-top with integrated wraparound windshield will come standard.
The new Regulator will be displayed on Pier 4 at Miami Marine Stadium.
Scout 530 LXF
Scout new mega center console tops the company’s lineup of luxury sport-fishers and is built on the same carbon-fiber, epoxy-infused, double-stepped hull previously used on the 380 and 420 LXF models. Scout will offer the 530 with a variety of outboard packages with four, five and even six engines.
Standard features include twin 30-gallon cockpit livewells, a Seakeeper 6 gyro stabilizer, a glass helm enclosure with electronically sliding windows (port and starboard), a cockpit island with a forward-facing bench seat, aft-facing bar stools that retract and stow, 16,000 BTU air conditioners for the cabin and helm, an electric sliding sun roof, heated helm seats, and more. The 530 carries 805 gallons of fuel and can handle up to 2,700 horsepower.

Cobia 240DC
Cobia’s new 240 dual-console model lines up between the smaller 220DC and the bigger 280DC at 25 feet, 1 inches in length, including the swim platform. As with all duals, the cockpit space is premium on the 240; the boat also comes with a 22-gallon livewell, a prep station and sink, dedicated seating for nine, a convertible first mate’s seat that transforms into a lound, a standard fiberglass hardtop with rod holders and more.
The vessel features a 21.5-degree deadrise and an 8-foot-10-inch beam. Visit the 240DC in the A tent, space A105, at the Miami Marine Stadium.
Stamas 33T Aventura
Built on Stamas’ successful Tarpon platform, the 33T Aventura features a modern shear and is loaded with fishing amenities including two aquarium-style livewells, insulated fish boxes, rod holders, a tackle station with sink, a tuna door and a spacious cockpit. The boat also offers wraparound bow seating that converts to a sun lounge or dining area with the flip of a switch.
Belowdecks, the air-conditioned cabin comes with a galley, full-size berth and marine head. The 33-footer carries 350 gallons of fuel and can carry up to 850 hp. The boat will be located on Pier 4 at Miami Marine Stadium.
Cabo 41
Hatteras/CABO Yachts has announced the reintroduction of the Cabo fishing boats brand, and the first new model to launch is the 41, which will be displayed at the Miami Yacht Show. The yacht show runs concurrently with the Miami boat show, but at a separate location — One Herald Plaza, which is on Biscayne Bay between the Venetian and MacArthur causeways.
The 41 will be offered with twin 626 hp Volvo D11 engines standard, with options for 670 hp and 725 hp, as well as Cummins QSM11 propulsion. The vessel’s LOA measures 42 feet 10 inches, and its beam measures 15 feet 9 inches. It carries 550 gallons of fuel and sleeps four.
